Bangla Fonts Doesn’t Render Correctly in Debian 8 “Jessie” Gnome 3.14

After a fresh installation of Debian 8 “Jessie” GNOME version, I faced fonts rendering problem. Bangla fonts didn’t render correctly in the webpages. I installed fonts-beng package and the problem solved!

  • Open terminal and execute the following command to install the fonts-beng package.

sudo apt-get install fonts-beng

This would install the fonts-beng package in your Debian 8 Jessie and thus your the Bangla fonts rendering problem will be solved. You may reboot your system if needed.
