GNOME-Terminal is Blank or Does Not Show Any Text in Awesome Window Manager

GNOME-Terminal uses black text on white background. On the other hand, Awesome window manager uses black background system-wide. That’s where the problem arises. GNOME-Terminal thus shows black font color on black background. So in total you don’t see anything and it appears to be blank. The solution is simple. From your Terminal menu, go to Profile Preferences > Colors. There uncheck the Use System Color or vice-versa. Your problem would be solved.
