How to Assign Shortcuts for Applications Using Xfce Keyboard Shortcuts in Debian 7 Xfce

You can assign shortcuts for any application using the Xfce settings manager. Go to Settings > Settings Manager > Keyboard > Application Shortcuts. Press Add. Click Open. Now select the application to which you want to assign a shortcut. Say, it’s X-terminal-emulator or terminal. Select it. Click OK. A dialog box would appear. Now press the shortcut keys. In my case, I pressed Windows key + T. Now it’s been assigned.
You can test the assigned shortcut keys.
